Impact of dietary nutrients (functional foods/nutraceuticals) and micronutrients on COVID-19: A review

چکیده

The world health organization (WHO) announced that coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a pandemic. Considering the pandemic spread of Covid-19, many researchers have shown immense interest in various functional foods/nutraceuticals and dietary supplements to improve immune function overall status thus lower risk COVID-19 infection. Studies indicated balanced diet rich nutrients especially micronutrients plays huge role recovering preventing related issues. Improvement obesity could reduce infection owing less angiotensin-conversion enzyme 2 receptors increase effect vaccination. This review signifies importance food bioactives along with (balanced diet) against its anomalies. Moreover, this contribution helps non-specialists understand based on dietary/supplementation recommendations by popular nutritional or organizations. To sum up contribution, healthy life style nutrition play important system. Reducing becomes critical point most find potential effective bioactives, which might act as supportive complementary therapy (prophylactic) for mitigating comorbidity associated COVID-19.
